Omniblack Inc. (operating the sllat application platform) values your operational privacy. We collect professional mobile phone numbers solely to transmit transactional notifications, real-time dealership lead alerts, and critical automated system status updates via WhatsApp and SMS text messaging.

No Sale or Sharing of Mobile Data

Mobile phone numbers collected, user consent data, and opt-in parameters gathered by Omniblack Inc. for the purpose of transmitting automated notifications will absolutely not be shared, sold, traded, or rented to any third parties, advertising networks, affiliates, or external partners for marketing or promotional reasons.

Opt-Out Instructions

End-users and dealership employees maintain absolute control over their notification streams. You can opt out or cancel alerts at any time by replying with the keyword STOP to any automated message received on your device. For assistance or system inquiries, reply HELP. You may also email info@omniblack.ca to be removed from all communications. We honour opt-outs promptly.

Information we collect

We only collect information you provide to us directly:

Dealership name, manager name, and contact details submitted through the waitlist on omniblack.ca;
Professional mobile phone numbers for SMS and WhatsApp notifications related to sllat;
Your consent to be contacted (timestamped at submission).

We also receive technical metadata standard to any web request: a truncated browser user agent and a one-way cryptographic hash of your IP address (not the IP itself). We do not set tracking cookies, run third-party analytics, or fingerprint your device.

How we use it

To reply to your waitlist request and discuss sllat with you;
To deliver transactional notifications, lead alerts, and system status updates via SMS and WhatsApp once you are onboarded;
To detect and prevent abuse of our forms and APIs.

Legal basis

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) and CASL, we rely on your express consent — given when you check the consent box on the waitlist form, or accept onboarding into the sllat platform — to contact you about sllat. You can withdraw your consent at any time by replying STOP to any message or emailing info@omniblack.ca.

Service providers

We use the following service providers to operate the site, store data, and deliver messages. Each is contractually obligated to protect your data and process it only on our instructions:

Vercel — website hosting
Supabase — encrypted database storage
Postmark — transactional email
Twilio — SMS and WhatsApp message delivery
Cloudflare — DNS and inbound email routing

Retention

We retain waitlist submissions and contact information for up to 24 months after your last contact with us, or until you request deletion. Aggregate, non-identifying records may be retained longer for product analytics.

Your rights

You may, at any time, ask us to:

Access the personal information we hold about you;
Correct inaccurate information;
Delete your information from our systems;
Withdraw consent to be contacted.

Email info@omniblack.ca with your request. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information: HTTPS for all traffic, parameterized database queries, IP hashing rather than raw IP storage, rate limiting on submission endpoints, and a strict Content Security Policy.

Children

This website and sllat are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent change.
